The staff were without doubt the most friendly and helpful staff i have ever came across. The girl at reception was incredibly understanding when i let her know i may have to cancel my visit due to unforeseen family circumstances that arose on the journey down to lough Rea. The other members of staff were equally hospitable. The food was excellent and the value was second to none. The spa was up there with the best i have been to and the mattresses used in the bedrooms are the best in Ireland,(I know this because i work for a furniture retailer who is the largest distributor of KK mattresses in the north of Ireland). I was recommended Lough Rea by a friend and have now since recommended it to all my friends in family as the only place to stay if they are in Galway !

We stayed here for a wedding, I have to say it was absolutely fantastic in every way! The staff were extremely friendly, service was great at the wedding and the following day at both the bar and restaurant, food was great and very reasonably priced!

We had a wonderful stay thank you, the staff were friendly, the food and the room were lovely. We hope to be back again!

lovely hotel with friendly staff who found my watch and returned it to me in the post the lights are a little on the dark side but everything else was perfect,i would recommend this hotel to famalies and friends

I thought the comfort of the room ,especially the bed,was one of the best I have encountered in my extensive travels in Ireland.Well done.
